Join Archbishop Coakley for the 36th anniversary memorial Mass for Fr. Rother. It will be at 5 p.m. July 29 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 211 W. Missouri in Okarche. Following the Mass, visit the Knights of Columbus Carnival, Okarche Council 3220, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Holy Trinity parking lot. The event features hamburgers and hot dogs, inflatables and kids’ games, hay rides, dunk tank, bingo, raffle drawings and cash prizes, live band and karaoke. Sale items include Fr. During the workshop, participants will explore the origins of communication, recognize the value of improving skills, and discern the nature of conflict in various settings. A four-day discernment retreat at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Youth Camp is for young men in high school and college who want to learn more about listening to God’s call in their lives, and to help determine if their vocation may be the priesthood.
