Opportunities are available for both adult and teens to volunteer your talents in our 1/2 TYME and TYME Youth Ministry. 

1/2 TYME  (Grades 6-8):

Catechist - Guides 6th through 8th grade students in the Catholic faith and Church teachings to deepen spiritual journey.

Catechist Assistant / Teen Mentors - Works with a Catechist to help lead students in understanding of our Catholic faith and assists in a variety of activities during 1/2 TYME.

Youth Night Facilitator - Adult volunteer plans and implements evenings of community and service.

 

TYME  (Grades 9-12):

Adult Mentors - The role of the adult mentor is to facilitate small group sessions on Sunday evenings using the Y-Disciple resources.

Confirmation Small Group Facilitator - Adult teams prepare and present those teens preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation our Catholic Faith utilizing the "CHOSEN" Confirmation curriculum. The Confirmation program is held on Wednesday evenings. 

Meal Coordinator - Plans, prepares and serves meals on Sunday evenings, for our annual Senior Brunch, and miscellaneous youth events.

Youth Ministry

Music Ministry Leaders - Prepares youth for liturgical and social music performances periodically throughout the year.

Service Project Ministry Leader - Lead youth to live out their faith by arranging and participating in service projects and assisting with missionary work. 

Camp SoS (Soldiers of Service) - Volunteer as a small group facilitator, music and prayer leader or as an adult leader and chaperone. This is an annual summer program.

Prayer Warriors - Volunteer to attend monthly adoration either on Sunday or Wednesday evenings from September to April, praying for our youth and catechists.

Youth Advisory Council (YAC) - Open to youth active in TYME.  This council, made up of youth in grades 9-12, is selected by the Youth Coordinator to help strengthen leadership skills.  The council assists the Youth Coordinator to brainstorm and puts into action ideas for enhancing the youth ministry experience.

Guest Speaker, Bible Study Leader, Retreat Mentors, YAC Leader - These are other volunteer opportunities to guide our 1/2 TYME and TYME youth on their faith journey.

Chaperones and Transportation Ministry - The Youth Ministry program is always in need of adult volunteers to transport and/or chaperone teens at various youth events and functions.
